Derks Elevator

Derks Elevator Inc. is a family owned and operated business. Gary, Marty and Patricia Derks work at the elevator. 6500 ton of corn and 10 ton of soybeans are handled by the elevator annually. As a part of the elevator, beans are also roasted, soybean meal is extruded and soybean oil is expelled. Both are important portions of the business. On June 9, 2014 we had an unfortunate fire in which we lost the main building with the soybean roaster, soybean expeller and several grain bins. We have rebuilt and proud to say we are able to process a higher quality product. We cover all of Eastern Ontario, however most of our clients are within Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.
