Since 1964, we’ve supported emerging investigators and advanced the science that drives the specialty forward. To date, the DF has awarded more than 2,600 research awards, investing over $92 million in dermatologic research—made possible through the generosity of our members, supporters, and volunteers. This investment in research is paired with cutting-edge education, ensuring dermatologists have the tools and knowledge to provide the best care for patients today—and tomorrow. Founded by eight leading dermatologists and scientists, the Foundation began with a shared belief: to move dermatology forward, innovative research must always be supported.
