Derzelas Association

Derzelas Association aims to support the social and professional inclusion of people with disabilities through the development of extracurricular activities and by facilitating their access to the labour market. Acting as an authorized protected unit, Derzelas Association uses the funds to implement and to develop diverse specific projects and activities for people with disabilities. Derzelas Association develops the following projects: • Art therapy workshops (painting, theatre, dance, musical and ceramic handicrafts therapy workshops); • Educational therapy workshops where they will study different languages or they will develop various other educational activities; • Medical gymnastics and rehabilitation for people with disabilities; • Sport therapy workshops (the group participation at various sport events, such as handball matches, tennis, basketball, physical activities and sport-based movement for improving the physical and mental condition of the participants); • Display and promote the handicrafts within the fairs and exhibitions; The undertaken activities which will consistently succeed to enhance the confidence and the motivation of persons with disabilities, so that they can find themselves in a continuous process of developing and learning.
