Desert Dog Technology

Desert Dog Technology was incorporated by Doug Banks and Karen Weaver in 2006. Together, the founders had already been providing personalized technical support for users of AppleTM products and custom database solutions for small and medium-size businesses for more than 20 years. We established Desert Dog Technology together with a goal to provide very personal service directly to our customers. We are centrally located in the eastern foothills of the Sandia Mountains of New Mexico, between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Our customers can be found all over the state, and as far away as Alaska, Hawaii, and the Virgin Islands. Because of our location, we’ve been pioneers in remote work since the early days of our company. Doug is on-site with in-state customers whenever he is needed, and we are experts at remote support when an on-site visit is unnecessary. For our first 16 years, we remained a two-person company. We built our business on the personal support we provide, and remain the primary point-of-contact with our customers. Over the last few years, we were encouraged by our customers to expand, both through referrals to new customers and by requests for expanded software features. We listened to their needs, and In the last year, we’ve added new employees with technical expertise in a wide range of software development and web design in order to provide a fuller range of services. As small business owners ourselves, we have perspective on the challenges small business face in managing technology while providing the interaction and features that customers want and expect today. We don’t have the solution to every problem, but we can help you find that solution, wherever it may be.
