Desi Finesse – the name is made of up two words ‘DESI’ which indicates pool of Indian indigenous cultures and techniques beautifully contemporized and ‘FINESSE’ indicates the delicacy and skill we impart to each of our product. Desi Finesse designs innovate upon traditional techniques and skills in pursuit of defining a novel aesthetic vocabulary of modernized and composite fashion. Our every piece is handmade and hand crafted and is original! Hence we stick to our favorite hashtag which is #allstufforiginal. We believe in eco-friendly and sustainable fashion hence we use Organic Finest hand woven natural fabrics, colors and natural dye s for all of our creations. The Journey The company started with an idea of uplifting the craftsmen and artisans, the constant endeavor has been the revival of Indian regional crafts. India is country that has arts and aesthetics indigenous to every state. There lies an immense potential that if tapped enough by commercialization can not only save the crafts from extension but provide great economic opportunities for the artisans to continue the perusal of their legacy. The company began collaborating with block printers, hand painting artists, embroiderers, weavers and started getting the products made which were a great blend of modern taste and old world charm. Through different exhibitions all across India the company not only got the validation of people across different states but also created a buzz amongst the foreign visitors. Slowly the company was approached by brands and buyers for bulk manufacturing, this lead to the formulation of another significant vertical of bulk production. Today it is associated with brands like Ethnix by Raymond, Thevasa, Minimal Her, Ira Fashions, Rapo Creations etc.
