Design For Resilience
A pioneer in the creation of fully biodegradable everyday textile objects and short circuit products, the research carried out by Design for resilience received the WBDM prize and the public prize during the Tremplin 2019 competition and winner of the Green Product Award 2020. The workshop wants to allow everyone to reduce their environmental and social footprint, while reducing waste and the spread of micro-plastics in nature through the creation of clothes and natural and solid everyday objects, produced in the respect for workers and living things. This is why DFR has created the resilient sponge: the first range of completely natural hemp and linen mesh cleaning sponges, dye-free and biodegradable, produced in Belgium, in the last hosiery in Wallonia. And because they are 100% natural, their creations are fully compostable at the end of their life, including labels!
