Design Initiatives

Design Initiatives is innovative, award-winning architecture practice. Design Initiatives' founder and principal Valkof possesses significant awards from the International Academy of Architecture [IAA] and the Iakov Chernikhov International Foundation [ICIF]. His projects won the First prize in Panasonic Store Front Design Competition, the Second Prize in The United Nations Development Programme [UNDP] Competition, and were part of the exhibition at the Beyond Media Festival in Florence, Italy. Design Initiatives’ work has received national and international recognition in numerous publications in world leading architectural media like Global Architecture [GA], BELLE, Arch Daily, Designboom, Design Indaba, Web Urbanist, e-Architect, Architecture Lab, Architecture News Plus, Design Daily, Architecture List, Archi Scene, AEC Cafe, International Business Times, and others.
