Design Leaders

Are you a Design Leader who is struggling to get your organization to adopt modern design? Have you had success and failures building and managing design teams or getting organizations to adopt new ways of thinking and developing products? Do you need some Design Therapy? If so we would love to hear your story. MISSION: Our mission is to advance the practice of design by building a safe and inclusive community of design leaders to learn from each other, heal from our challenges and share our mistakes and successes of leading design teams and demonstrating design's value to business. ELIGIBLILTY: If you are at a point in your career where you spend more time managing people than doing the work and or have had a leadership role in the design or product management space you are eligible. We have a focus on Software Design topics but welcome all disciplines including but not limited to Hardware Design, Marketing, Graphic Design and Copywriting. We welcome executives, managers, leads and of course the Team of One. EVENTS: We meet once a month, in-person, for a free catered lunch in downtown Denver to fill our tummies, share, vent and collaborate on a variety of topics. Content may include design workshops, guest speakers, process deep-dives, success stories and hard-truth challenges. Activity and topic ideas can be submitted by any participant for group review.
