TWO DAYS OF EXPLORING DIGITAL DESIGN - NOW AND IN THE FUTURE! Design Matters is a place for inspiring, competent, visionary, nerdy, engaging talks, workshops and discussions about the work and role of digital designers now and in the future. We bring together design practitioners from around the world for two days of design talks, workshops, discussions, and socializing in Copenhagen, Lagos, Tokyo, and Mexico City. Each year, we invite speakers from leading digital products from around the world, as well as startups and independent designers. They come to talk about their design practice, challenges, and learnings, showing their work, their attempts, failures, and successes. MEET DESIGNERS FROM ALL OVER THE GLOBE Each year Design Matters brings together more than UI and UX designers and design leaders from all over the world. Besides prioritizing a high level of design talks and nerd tracks, we also aim to create a fun and social community. On day 1, we invite all participants to stay for food, drinks, good music, and a chance to socialize and meet new people. Since, we want you to have a good time, when you're here. This means no sales pitches, no bullshit, no warm air. At Design Matters, the speakers talk about the real work and process of doing digital design. They will share their first-hand knowledge and personal stories about creating experiences that connect, engage and inspire users.
