Our work is grounded in a pragmatic approach: it must function well, sit appropriately in its context, bring comfort and delight, and remain affordable without compromising quality. Since 2012, we have acted as specialist consultants to English wineries and vineyards. In partnership with viticultural experts Vinescapes, we offer design, advice, and project management for all aspects of vineyard estate development. Our completed work includes the Winery and Flint Barns at the Rathfinny Estate in East Sussex, and the recently completed winery in Linden Winery in Berkshire. We understand the sensitivities of building in rural locations. Whether working within a protected landscape or adapting existing agricultural buildings, we aim to create architecture that is appropriate, buildable, and enduring. We often collaborate with contractors from the earliest stages to ensure that designs are efficient to build and offer best value for money. This early engagement helps shape the project around practical realities and unlocks opportunities for innovation and cost control. All our projects are developed using Building Information Modelling (BIM), allowing us to coordinate with consultants and produce high-quality visualisations and walk-throughs throughout the design process. This enables early engagement with emerging ideas and helps clients make informed decisions with clarity and confidence. Our wider portfolio includes private dwellings and home remodelling, schools and colleges, healthcare facilities, public and commercial buildings, and specialist facilities for vineyards and wineries.
