Established by Tijen Samuray in 2011, designmixer’s surface designs are based on a balanced harmony between different disciplines and techniques. Featuring avant-garde images, extraordinary dimensions, and bold color combinations, these specially designed walls and surfaces translate into wall coverings that may be used in home decoration and architectural projects with design scenarios strong enough to create an iconic atmosphere in a plain space. Reflecting founder Tijen Samuray’s passionate interest in different cultures and perceptual psychology, the walls and complementary accessories designed with rich colors gain a modernist look thanks to digital technologies. The flexibility that allows applying surface designs in custom dimensions and layouts using various materials including wallpaper, leather, fabric, metal, wood, porcelain and ceramic makes the brand even more attractive for architects and interior designers. Our Manifesto We get inspired by the dreams of our customers. Our greatest source of inspiration is our desire to create free, boundless walls that liberate traditional mindspaces: the walls that “bring down the walls”! We seek to discover the high aesthetic perception of the hidden treasures of past cultures that have existed for centuries. Nature and history offer us an unlimited source of inspiration. True to our name, Designmixer “mixes” this unlimited natural and historical inspiration to reinvent interior walls from a different perspective and to create contemporary surface designs.
