Desmond Associates is a boutique Landscape Architecture firm in Las Vegas Nevada. Our work ranges from commercial workplaces and education facilities to community developments and public transportation, to urban environments, recreation facilities, parks, open spaces, and private residences of all scales. Our founder and owner, Robert Desmond, is an award-winning licensed Landscape Architect focused on integrating information, artistry and technology to create beautiful, sustainable, future-focused solutions that result in wonderful outdoor environments for people to enjoy! Our objectives include working with clients and project teammates to: Build strong relationships through excellent service and proactive business development strategies based on a foundation of teamwork, collaboration and trust. Establish a clear goal, vision, budget, schedule and pathway for approvals that will bring a project to fruition. Build consensus around ideas that facilitate desired outcomes that resolve key design, production, and communication challenges. Develop qualifications and proposal packages tailored to specific client needs and the scope of work for individual projects. Direct all aspects of the landscape work through every project’s planning, design, and construction phases. Create landscape concept drawings that clearly convey the design intent, and present those drawings to the client and other public or private audiences for approval. Prepare construction plans for the landscape planting, irrigation, hardscape and site amenities along with supporting details, notes, and technical specifications as necessary. Provide construction support by reviewing materials samples, shop drawings, and quality of the work for compliance with the drawings and specifications. Utilize standard industry technology platforms including AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu to integrate seamlessly with the needs of the project team.
