Desolenator

Desolenator is the world’s first solar thermal desalination solution that works at scale - we harness the power of the sun and/or industrial low grade waste heat to sustainably transform seawater into drinking water or ultrapure water. Our patented technology harvests 4x more energy from the sun than traditional PV panels. We use zero harmful chemicals, zero membranes, and zero energy intermittency. Integrated with Zero Liquid Discharge, this circular technology enables the production of quality water and salt without producing any toxic brine: a game-changing circular approach to desalination. In 2022, Desolenator delivered its flagship plant for the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). In 2024 Desolenator delivered its second plant to Silal in Al Ain, UAE.
