Destination Hike

Destination Hike is a community of hikers that meet up monthly to hike in different locations across the country. Our mission is to encourage people to travel to hike. We want people to enjoy the various benefits of nature, while exploring those benefits in new and exciting locations. Local hikes for us are in the D.C, Maryland, Virginia area. Our travel hikes can range across the country as far as Las Vegas, NV and beyond. Destination Hike is open for hikers of all abilities and experience levels. Travel trips, however, are for intermediate hikers and above. If you are new to hiking, check out our local hikes to get a feel for the pace of hikes, terrain of hiking, and length of time spent hiking. Most hikes will last 1.5 hours or more.
