Destination Stirling Limited

Stirling is a deeply historic Royal Burgh, dominated by the cliff-top fortress and royal palace of Stirling Castle – grandest of all Scottish castles. Here too is the dramatic National Wallace Monument, celebrating Scotland’s national hero, Sir William Wallace. And in 1314, Scotland won its independence, at the Battle of Bannockburn. The city region is currently enjoying a sustained period of capital development in tourism and leisure facilities that will result in well over £100 million of investment and considerable improvements to the city’s room stock and visitor offering.
