Detay Art Gallery has been the young face of Traditional Turkish Art and Contemporary Turkish Painting Art since 2011 and within this period, has created a valuable archive holding many collection pieces. The gallery, with its founder Calligraphist Harun Akyüzlü’s vision of Turkish Traditional Arts, has succeeded to display Modern Turkish Painting and Modern Western Art in balance. Having added paintings by foreign artists into its collection in recent years, it holds various styles. Carrying out art activities in such variety, the gallery creates new collections with the works of valuable artists, gives consulting by managing important collections, and continues its work to give acceleration to art. As one of its important activities, Detay Art has organized the Retrospective Exhibition of the Turkish Artist Devrim Erbil’s 50th Anniversary at the Academy in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Tophane-i Amire Exhibition Hall and published the artist’s catalog. Detay Art tries to guide the art of the future with the desire to help it go further and spread to wider geographies all the time.
