DevBar 2020 is an event taking place at Soul Bar on Friday, 13th of March. DevBar 2020 is part of the DataFest. DataFest, Scotland's two-week festival of Data Innovation comes back from the 9th to 20th March 2020. The event invites teams of developers, designers, project managers, students and creative professionals to battle it out over a 10 hour period, to win over a panel of Aberdeen’s leading industry professionals. Students undertaking courses in the listed fields are also invited to take part. The spaces are limited so get in touch and grab yours today. The challenge is a 'one-day' project development competition based on a 'top secret' brief prepared especially for the event, where teams are presented with a brief and asked to come up with the solution of their choice. Participants will be provided with the opportunity to test and develop their skills to meet a mystery brief designed by the judges. Each member of the winning team will be rewarded with an amazing award. Popular forms would include app development, games, websites, and interactive social media campaigns. With all-day catering, plenty of beer, networking opportunities and an after-party, DevBar 2020 will be the first of its kind to take place in Aberdeen.
