DFMA was created to provide a unique opportunity for students - a professional make-up school outside of London that would be accessible and affordable for everyone. DFMA is a make-up school for inventiveness and creativity, providing the highest of standards of education and training in England. Our nurturing environment will give you confidence and pride in your work and open up new opportunities and career options. Davinia Fermi and her team will personally teach all of their students in a group and on a one-to-one, with guest artists coming in straight from fashion week, music videos, TV and films. Class sizes are restricted to maximise the learning opportunities and to provide each student with as much individual attention as possible. We will be keeping a keen eye on students who exceed expectations and those who show enthusiasm, talent and dedication - to offer the unrivalled opportunity to assist and work on photo shoots, shows, music videos, promotions, TV and films. This practical experience will be invaluable in your career. At the end of most courses there will be a professional photo shoot giving all students not only the opportunity to leave with the DFMA certificate of achievement, but also professional pictures, that will help build your portfolio and point you in the right direction. A 12-month aftercare plan is also offered in completion of the course to provide the benefit of our experience and advice.
