In 1989, engineers Ken Meline and Julian Rachman saw a need for a different kind of MEP firm. They wanted to create a client-focused, ethically-minded company specializing in MEP systems for mission-critical facilities. Anchored by the basic principles of integrity, hard work, and a passion for excellence in engineering, they founded DFW Consulting Group, Inc, which is now known as DFWCGI. Operating under the next generation of leadership, the firm has grown from two employees to over 50 and has successfully delivered more than 7,500 projects. Although mission-critical work remains the core of our expertise, DFWCGI has grown to provide engineering support for all types of projects, from assessments and studies to complete MEP design for the construction of new facilities of all sizes. Our clients are pushing the boundaries of engineering technology and challenging our engineers to design MEP systems for some of the most groundbreaking projects in the AEC industry such as world-class airports and data centers supporting the future of high-performance computing and AI technology.
