DGridEnergy, LLC is a US-based social benefit company. Our overall mission is to provide renewable energy solutions that expand businesses, grow communities and enhance livelihoods by building the cold chain for temperature-sensitive products in emerging markets. DGrid Energy, LLC, based in the Washington, DC area, incorporated in 2016 to develop, design and build an energy efficient, optionally hurricane rated, solar powered, modular and expandable cold storage solution. Our vision is to address the growing need of managing temperature-sensitive products in global markets and to solve systematic breaks in the cold chain. From that we developed The Solar Cool Cube and complimenting products. To achieve this vision and goal, we developed a marketing and testing center displaying our product at the University of the District of Columbia Redbird Muirkirk Experimental Farm in Beltsville, Maryland. Our units are currently being sold and installed in Zambia and The Democratic Republic of Congo. We are excited about our future deployments throughout Africa, Asia, Caribbean and South America where we can create employment and new jobs as well as improve the quality of life in the economies of those countries we serve.
