Diabetes Research Connection is a nonprofit organization that empowers early-career scientists to advance bold, peer-reviewed research aimed at preventing, treating, and curing Type 1 diabetes. We bridge the critical funding gap between scientific training and established research careers, a stage at which innovative ideas often go unfunded. Here’s what makes DRC different: We focus exclusively on early-career researchers, often overlooked by traditional funders. All projects undergo rigorous peer-review by our Scientific Review Committee of T1D experts. 100% of donor-designated contributions go directly to research. 🧠 Donors choose the projects they want to support — transparent, community-powered giving.
