Diaeta

Diaeta is a social enterprise, comprised of a structured programme to enhance the wellness of the people of Sheffield, especially in the areas of cardiovascular disease, depression, and overweight/obesity. The Diaeta programme is an expansion of Dr Dean Ornish’s Lifestyle Medicine Program, the first scientifically-validated comprehensive lifestyle intervention programme for reversing heart disease. Diaeta’s programme focusses on the individual's nutrition, fitness, stress management, love & support, and play as its composite services. The services include one-to-one nutritional therapy consultations, group nutrition and life-habits facilitated discussion, group nordic walking, meditation, facilitated nonviolent communication meetings, singing.
