Diamond Blade Fencing

What do we do? Diamond Blade Fencing Club offers a unique & fun introduction to fencing - the greatest and one of the oldest sports on this planet! To start with, we will be using the mini-fence, a set of safe plastic swords, cloth vests and plastic masks to demonstrate the foundation movements and techniques within fencing. Most of all, they are great fun! What actually happens in a session? In the sessions, the students will first do engaging warm-up & mobility games including some that teach them a variety of footwork and blade skills to help the children understand the sport and improve their balance, co-ordinaton, speed and timing. By gradually, but methodically developing these skills, the children gain confidence and self-discipline. In fact, they develop skills for life!
