Our story began with humble roots. Diamond Flat Roofing is a family-run business, built on hard work, graft, and teamwork. Founder Al first discovered his trade back in while working for a local boat builder. What started as sweeping floors soon turned into an opportunity to train as a laminator, where Al mastered the art of fibreglass—mould making, tool making, injection moulding, wet lay, and spray lay. Eight years later, Al moved into a new role as unit leader in a fibreglass shop, creating everything from race trailers and kit cars to the iconic London Eye pods and theme park rides. It was during this time that Diamond Fibreglass was born—starting out evenings and weekends with pop tops for camper vans and beach buggies, before moving on to flat roofing. By 2011, the very first fibreglass flat roof was complete. As the business grew and customer needs became more varied, the name evolved too. Diamond Fibreglass became Diamond Flat Roofing, reflecting the wider range of applications and solutions we deliver today. What hasn’t changed is our core: family values, a hands-on approach, and a drive to craft durable, innovative roofing for every project.
