With Special Consultative Status to the UN ECOSOC, as a Registered Civil Society Organization to the OAS, an Official Partner of UNESCO, and a member of the Vienna NGO Committee on Drugs, Dianova brings field expertise into global decision-making spaces—so policies reflect people’s lives, not ideology. Our focus is clear: drug policy, health policy and human rights. We work where these systems meet people—and where change cannot wait. Drug policy Drug use is not a crime to punish. It is a health and social issue to address. We promote evidence-based, health-led policies grounded in prevention, treatment, harm reduction and reintegration—because punitive approaches fail, and people pay the price. Health policy Health is a right, not a privilege. We advocate for people-centred systems that ensure access, quality care and resilience—especially in mental health and addiction—so no one is left behind. Human rights Dignity is not negotiable. We work to ensure rights are implemented, monitored and enforced—turning legal principles into protection, accountability and equality in practice.
