Digiscoreerc

DigitalScores utilising computational technology and digital media are emerging worldwide as the next evolutionary stage in the concept of the #musicscore. They are generating new #music experiences, innovative compositional approaches, novel performance opportunities, and broader accessibility for a vast number of musicians and music cultures around the world. This project will launch the first scientific investigation into the transformation of the music score through computational technologies. DigiScore is funded by a European Research Council grant, and is a collaborative project between De Montfort University (England), Monash University (Australia), Central Conservatory of Music (China), Concordia University (Canada) & The Regents of the University of California (USA).
