Although we’ve been around since 1986, the Digital Jukebox was formulated in the West Midlands during the mid-90's just before the real explosion of the digital music industry that took our ears by surprise. We had an idea that the music industry was about to change and with that in mind we initially partnered with the MCI (BBC/2 Entertain’ s) to handle our some of our back catalogue & publishing with the early IODA Alliance but then later began working with Sony Music’s Orchard one of the most successful digital distribution companies in the world. Today, the label consists of musicians whose passion for the art outweighs the default norms found within the industry. With a trust relationship with one of best Midland’s internet technology companies we are more than confident in the delivery of all the marketing, social and digital promotional needs for our musicians. We’ve had previous working business partnerships with London’s BBC Worldwide and during that time had gained a prestigious sponsorship with Roland Music UK for some of our talented musicians. We have since maintained a keen interest in licensing and sync assisting Hasbro Games, Mentos and more as this has now become a popular means of furthering the visual music exploitation of our recorded catalogue. Since 1996, the idea and ethos behind our name derives from the traditional digital jukebox which was home to the best selection of classics for music lover’s personal selection. We absolutely love the authenticity of vinyl and believe that at some point it may well come back, nevertheless our infrastructure and work ethics have well adapted to the digital demands of music releases and its technologies.
