Dilly Designs

DillyDesigns was conceived in 2017 a part of the course 'The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design' Module 3 - Monetising your Designs. I studied textile design, screen-printing and dyeing at the Sir John Cass School of Art in the 1980’s, but was diverted by another passion - editorial design for magazines and publishing and studied at the London College of Communication which directed my career. A love of pattern and colour for all things wearable, decorative and disposable never wained and was re-vitalised when I discovered, by chance on PatternBank the Make it in Design Summer School 2016. I completed three modules, Designing your way, Creating your professional identity and Monetising your designs. Now a member of The Textile Design Lab and continuing to grow with them, I invite you to join me on my journey.
