Directed Medical Systems

Medical decision making is a difficult process. As Americans, we want to have a say in our medical care. We don’t want to end up on a breathing machine if there is no hope for life. We don’t want to prolong death; we want to die gracefully if it is our time. Obviously, we don’t want to die prematurely either. Many people use a living will or an advance directive to try to help with some of these decisions. Some of us just want to leave it up to our families, however, most of the time the discussion is too uncomfortable or we just forget to have it with them
