Direction Psychology

Direction Psychology is a private Perth-based practice with clinics both North and South of the River. Owned and operated by Karen Huggett, Clinical Psychologist and mother of three, Direction prides itself on providing trusted support and guidance for those in need. We have a team of dedicated professionals who are able to support a range of mental health presentations and complete assessments for ADHD and Autism. We also have a number of clinicians trained in the assessment and diagnosis of FASD. Our team of Psychologists and Social Workers genuinely care about the health and well-being of our community, and specialise in children, adolescent, adult, family, and corporate mental health care, using evidence-based and affordable therapeutic techniques. We see private, aged care, health care plan, EAP and workers compensation clients, and have minimal wait-list, so you can be seen when you need to be. We offer group therapy for clients aged 5-25 aimed at building resilience, confidence and teach the coping strategies needed to get through life's challenges. We can provide a range of formal psychological assessments for clients of all ages (including children and adolescents), to help determine the right kind of support needed. Working closely with referrers, including your GP, we provide trusted care, whilst guaranteeing the safety, understanding and privacy you are searching for.
