Directors: DEBORAH ANDERSON Dip CG, LOUISE BRAZIER Dip CG and WENDY WOOD Dip CGD The Directors have extensive experience of working in Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG); Wendy for 10 years and Deborah and Louise for over 20 years and have all been responsible for managing teams of Careers Advisers and successfully achieving Government targets. In their previous roles they were responsible for planning, delivering and reviewing CIAG in a variety of organisations including 11-18 schools, alternative education programmes, special schools and colleges. Along with a proven track record in educational establishments they have experience, knowledge and understanding of supporting young people in the labour market (NEET). In establishing Directions IAG Ltd, Deborah, Louise and Wendy’s aim is to ensure a consistent and quality CIAG service to schools, young people and parents/carers in Essex. Directions IAG has achieved Matrix quality standard accreditation for information, advice and guidance services. We provide a high quality service and ensure these high standards are maintained through regular review and monitoring. We have established strong partnership links with employers, local and national education and training providers, Essex County Council’s Employability and Skills Unit and Transition Pathway Service. All our Careers Advisers are qualified to level 6 or above – holding Dip CG, QCG or NVQ4 in Advice and Guidance/LDSS/QCF Level 6 in Careers Guidance and Development. They have extensive experience of working in schools and colleges in Essex, and are members of the Career Development Institute (CDI) operating within the Institute’s Code of Ethical Principals. They comply with Safeguarding procedures and hold current, enhanced CRB/DBS certificates and also undertake continued professional development and receive professional supervision.
