Disability Huntingdonshire

We are a small, but long-standing, disability charity based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. We have been in operation since 1991 and have a long history of successfully supporting disabled people. We provide benefits advice, guidance and support for disabled people and their carers. Support is given over the phone, by email and face-to-face. We are the only organisation locally who will also help people in their own homes, which is often the only way those most at need can access help to get benefits that will keep them independent and out of care homes or hospital. Many of our staff, volunteers and trustees have a disability themselves or care for someone with a disability and so understand the barriers disabled people can face. With the complex changes in the welfare benefits system, our services are more in demand than ever.
