Discover Denton

Discover Denton is a Destination Marketing Organization that promotes the city of Denton, Texas through marketing, advertising, strategic partnerships, public relations, travel trade, sales and sponsorship. Our organization represents over 100 tourism industry-related businesses including hotel and lodging properties, event venues, restaurants, breweries, retail stores, area attractions and sporting facilities. Denton is a bustling North Texas town that is known for its spectacular live music scene, lively nightlife, gorgeous courthouse square, and its two major universities, the University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University. This is where Grammy-award winning musicians like Norah Jones and Don Henley honed their craft, a tradition that continues at the concert venues, bars, and clubs to this very day. Denton’s music scene alone makes it a great place to visit, but it’s not all this town has to offer. We offer a decidedly different take on Texas culture and entertainment, and we’re a quick, easy drive from DFW International Airport. Our team is ready to plan the perfect event for you! From lodging assistance and site inspection to tours, special event planning and transportation needs, we’ve got you covered.
