At District Counseling, our mission is to deliver high-quality, personalized mental health services to individuals and families throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Founded in 2019, we are committed to addressing the gaps in accessible, quality mental health care by providing services that are both effective and uniquely tailored to each client’s needs. We understand that today’s world presents unprecedented challenges, from the global pandemic and social isolation to the constant exposure to violence, fear-based triggers, and the stress of professional burnout and financial insecurity. Our team is dedicated to guiding clients through these difficult experiences with empathy, understanding, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Our therapists specialize in a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
