Founded at the end of World War Two, Divel Italial started its activity producing glass lenses. In the mid seventies, after acquiring from the United States the know how for the production of organic material CR39 lenses, it became one of the firts European companies to produce this type of lenses. During the eighties, following a major restructuring, the company was divided into three sections: one producing glass lenses, another producing organic lenses and a third section dedicated to both product’s sale and marketing. Since then, all our lenses are sold under this brand: DIVEL ITALIA. Divel Italia operates and offers to the international market two product’s lines: sun lenses and ophthalmic lenses.
