I entered the game of golf later in life, at 57, and quickly learned how challenging it truly is. That experience sparked a deep commitment to understanding the swing and finding ways to improve efficiently. When I couldn’t find a simple, affordable tool that provided instant feedback on strike quality, I decided to create one myself. That idea became the Divot Board—a patented training aid that clearly shows fat and thin shots, heel and toe strikes, and swing path results, with or without a ball. Today, the Divot Board is used by golfers of all skill levels and trusted by coaches, retailers, and training facilities. It’s designed for versatility—effective indoors or outdoors, from the living room to the office to the range. What began as a personal need has grown into a business focused on helping golfers train smarter, understand their swing faster, and enjoy the game more.
