Dixon Hurst is a long-established Consulting Structural & Civil Engineering practice with origins dating back to the late 1930s, when the firm was founded by Donald Dixon-Hurst in London, with offices on Regent Street. With strong historic links to Brighton, Brighton Borough Council, and East Sussex County Council, the practice relocated to Brighton in 1959, becoming Dixon Hurst & Partners. Over the decades, the firm has continued to evolve, expanding its reach and expertise across the South East. Further growth included the establishment of offices in Horsham (1990) and Chichester (2004), and the acquisition of Redgrove & Kemp in 1997, forming Dixon Hurst Kemp. We have an impressive track record delivering capital projects from the 1960s to the present day, including notable local landmark buildings such as Sussex Heights Apartments, Brighton Polytechnic, The Law Courts, The Arts College, and The Regent Swimming Pool. Our experience also extends to major commercial and industrial developments, including Hampden Park, Eastbourne, and Downlands Business Park, Worthing.
