Djeff

A digital artist and researcher, Djeff was awarded the Hachette Foundation “Digital Creation” grant in for his interactive, generative crime novel Trajectoires. He founded the Dekalko digital entertainment studio and from 2001 to 2009 taught new media at the Paris 8 University in the “Culture and communication” department. In 2009 he became artistic director, then in 2012 creative director, at Sciences Po in Paris. In his artistic work, he likes to question perception, and uses our environment as a playground. His creations focus on three areas: game play, mobility and traces. His installations and videos are regularly exhibited in France and abroad.
