Our business digital business model is based on an application, the “Djibinho-App”, which can be divided in three parts: Training content (pedagogical processing) Digitalization (information access) Gamification (reward system) Through the Djibinho app, coaches can assign player-specific homework regardless of football expertise. Every child receives their own player profile. The Djibinho concept is based on the reward principle of role playing games in which continuous growth of the so-called avatar causes positive behavior, akin to an addiction, in users. As a result, players are inclined to improve technically and encouraged to be physically active. It basically works like a role-playing game, except in this case, the players play themselves! The tasks are disguised as challenges in order to make the game attractive and engaging (children love challenges). The crucial factor lies in the child´s celebration of success which increases motivation, supported by the visualization of progress in each player profile. Children receive points for every successful challenge, improving their individual skills and raising their level. Consciously noticing and recognizing their achievements leads to a chain of success: the children feel great. They feel prompted (motivated) to work on themselves, to show initiative and to build up self-confidence. The fact that the children only focus on their own accomplishments, keeping track of their continuous progress through the app regardless of their individual player capabilities, creates an enormous social surplus.
