About DKT International (Myanmar) DKT Myanmar was established in 2014 with the programmatic goals of introducing new contraceptives to the market, increasing understanding and acceptance of family planning and expanding the availability of family planning products across the country. We began with condoms and IUDs immediately followed by injectable contraceptives. In 2016, we introduced oral contraceptive pills and an emergency contraceptive. This was followed with the launch of a new PPIUD and a pregnancy test kit in 2017. Currently, DKT Myanmar has registered a contraceptive implant and launched new programs like sexual and reproductive health workshops for factory workers and university students to further promote family planning across the country.
