DM Service Centre is a family business. As a teenager Gavin spent lots of his spare time helping out at his fathers places of work gaining invaluable mechanical experience and knowledge. After receiving his trade certificate in 1993, Gavin continued to work in the industry and in 1994 he started his own workshop in Kleinmond before moving it to Cape Town. In he joined the family business. After three years of working for his father Gavin took over the reigns in 2002. Gavin has extensive knowledge of many various makes of heavy and light duty vehicles. His ability to diagnose problems is due to his years of experience and understanding of the workings of diesel and petrol driven vehicles. This ability is a time and money saving tool both of which are a scarcity today. Gavin is actively involved in the running of the workshop sharing his experience and knowledge with the staff, therefore benefitting the customers. When a customer brings their vehicle to our workshop we strive to deliver an excellent, efficient and cost effective service with the objective that the customer will return.
