Dolman is a multi-disciplinary practice that offers an extensive range of professional Surveying and Architectural services across a wide spectrum of project types. The practice, established in 1973 and based in Devizes, is family founded and run, priding itself on delivering a reliable, friendly and economic service to clients of all types, ranging from private to corporate. Our client base and nature of work has developed and grown organically over the years. It falls into four distinct areas- Commercial, Industrial and Public Sector – Offices, Warehouses, public buildings Licensed Trade – pubs and hotels Private Client – residential extensions and alterations, new build dwellings Schools – primary and early years (with some secondary projects) Some of the services we frequently provide include- Architectural and building design Contract Administration Specification and Tendering Services Building and related surveys CDM co-ordinator services Cost advice / cost planning Party Wall procedures Planned preventative maintenance Dilapidations / condition reports Conservation advice Our project input is typically from inception through to completion of the works and handover to Client. However, a flexible service is offered and we are able to tailor our input at each stage to suit particular client or project requirements, timescale or budget. While projects have been undertaken around London and the Home Counties, our normal field of operation is Wiltshire and Dorset. There are exceptions, of course, and we will consider projects further afield. We agree the basis of our fees and services in writing prior to commencement. These are individually tailored to suit Client needs and will include a breakdown based on project stages, a percentage of contract value, or time basis.
