In 1990, Don Smock Auction Company, Inc. was formed to offer professional and personal service to the construction industry with customer and consignor centered service. Our equipment services started out with auctions, appraisals, asset recovery, brokering, guarantees, and purchases. The company quickly grew into the market leader in construction machinery and heavy equipment in the state of Indiana. As time went on those clients looked to us for our extensive industry knowledge with equipment appraisals and commercial real estate. Those divisions have exploded exponentially fueling continued growth here at DSA. DSA required more space which led to our state of the art 40 acre corporate headquarters in Pendleton, Indiana where we conduct five major auctions annually at our all-weather drive thru which connects buyers and sellers all over the world. These auctions have become a big part of our local community due to our personal service and family environment. In addition our on-site business grew as well leading us to expand to locations in Illinois, Ohio, and Wisconsin allowing us to serve the entire Midwest and beyond. Our dedicated business staff considers each customer the sole reason we have been successful for so many years. We have multiple auctioneers on staff, along with three real estate brokers, multiple GPPA designated and USPAP compliant appraisers in multiple industries, and a mobile office staff so no matter where we need to be the DSA experience comes along. Client base includes: largest and smallest Midwest financial companies, multiple attorney relationships and a growing network of business owners.
