Donna Balzer Consulting is involved in many media activities such as writing for the Calgary Herald and appearing on a regular basis on CBC radio and in the CrebNow blog. The HGTV television show Bugs & Blooms is one of the highlights of Donna's career. It has also been an amazing experience to convert years of research and garden trivia to fascinating public and private talks. According to her Editor at the Calgary Herald Donna Balzer is an "idea machine", developing new ideas for her columns all the time. She is also a fun speaker for all audiences, young and old, big and small, private or public. Her current favourite talk is "Grow Ordinary Food in Extraordinary Ways".
