Doshisha University

Doshisha University, founded in 1875, is a private university located in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. Under the educational principles of "Christianity","Liberalism" and "Internationalism", Doshisha represents a total of students in 14 faculties and 16 graduate schools in two main campuses, and has 169 overseas partner institutions in 39 counties and regions all around the world. Doshisha University Center for Japanese Language and Culture (CJLC) is renowned for its well-developed Japanese language and Japanese studies program.
