Dot Five Films is an LA-based film company that specializes in story-focused production. Through creative films, the company tells stories that resonate with important human experiences associated with today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world. The company was founded in 2014 by Javier Espinoza, an award-winning short film producer. Dot Five Films released their first feature film “Distortion: A Social Media Story” in August of 2016 and continues to grow its film portfolio. Based off of the Distortion film, a series of education seminars on social media have been created. Social Media Awareness 101 provides school stakeholders with the tools to promote safe and responsible social media use. Our programs are designed to evaluate, mitigate, and prevent social media abuse at your school. Javier travels around the U.S. to present these seminars.
