Dowd & Dowd, Ltd. has been serving the Defense Industry in excess of seventy-five years. The firm was founded in 1950 by two brothers, James and Joseph Dowd, following their service as Marines in the Korean Conflict. Thereafter their brother Michael followed as managing partner until his premature passing in 1996. Michael’s son, Patrick has continued the tradition of excellence established by those preceding, thereby ensuring that the firm remains as one of the longest standing defense law firms in Illinois. Its practice is focused on all civil torts in State and Federal Courts throughout the United States, experienced in both trial and appeals.
