Downtown Abbotsford

The Abbotsford Downtown Business Association was founded in 1989 and aims to support our downtown businesses in community cohesion, beautification of our downtown, and lobbies on behalf of downtown merchants and property owners to local and provincial governments. Business Improvement Area (BIA) organizations are not-for-profit associations that promote the shared interests of commercial property owners and businesses located within the neighbourhood boundaries. These associations support the area by developing programs in marketing, promotions, street enhancement, safety & security, event planning, and business development. Each BIA organization is managed by a Board of Directors that governs the decision-making and sets the priorities for the organization.
