Michael Kamalu (AKA Dr. Gains) creates highly unique fitness content & online programs by leveraging the medical training he received at the Mayo Clinic Medical School together with well over a decade of weight-lifting and physical fitness training. He not only teaches people WHAT to do, but also helps them understand WHY it works by educating them on the underlying anatomy and physiology and applying it to each workout - all in a way that's clear and simple to understand even for those with no background knowledge, leading to drastically greater efficiency, effectiveness, and ultimately - results. Dr. Gains is perhaps most well-known for his "Gains Without Pains" online program series, where he teaches people how to continue to build muscle despite chronic pain and injuries - and to do so while simultaneously rehabbing those conditions and preventing future injury. It is a "one of it's kind" blend of personal training, physical therapy, and basic medical education.
