Dr Galyna Selezneva

Dr Galyna Selezneva is an aesthetic medical doctor currently practising at one of the world’s leading clinics - Dr Rita Rakus - in London. Dr Galyna is a specialist in non-invasive procedures, including non-surgical face and body treatments. These include sagging of the skin (which can be age-related or weight loss) body contouring to get rid of stubborn pockets of fat (or a whole body transformation), skin rejuvenation (which ranges from looking well-rested to ten years younger) acne scarring and sun damage. She uses the latest in technology for her patients, including non-surgical face and body lifts, energy devices and laser treatments. She was born and brought up in the Ukraine and trained as a medical doctor where she first came across energy devices for health and medical reasons. Coming from a family of doctors, she started working in aesthetics in on both prevention and rejuvenation as part of her post-medical qualifications and is now the only qualified medical doctor in the UK to have studied at the CoolSculpting University at The Zeltiq Headquarters in California. Having also trained as a psychiatrist (working in the fields of addiction and eating disorders) she has an insight into what people really want when coming for aesthetic procedures and why they want them. Dr Galyna believes prevention is important if a person wants to look their very best by the time they reach middle-age and older. Those who do look effortlessly beautiful have usually put a lot of time and effort into it.” She is registered with the General Medical Council as a doctor. Dr Galyna has a Masters degree in both Psychiatry and Economics and studied in the USA and UK.
